Mr. Glass groups its products into lines. Each line is aimed at a different kind of project, budget and look.

MG-350 Windows Series

Budget-friendly

Best for: Homeowners who want impact windows on a tighter budget for everyday bedroom and living-room openings in normal wind-load areas.

  • The MG-350 series shares one slim 2-3/16 in. aluminum frame across a single-hung (MG-350 SH), a horizontal slider (MG-350 HR) and a fixed picture window (MG-350 PW), which can also be made in arches, circles and other shapes
  • Impact: Every MG-350 model is impact-rated under a Florida Product Approval (FL41887 single-hung, FL41890 slider, FL41889 picture window)
  • Finishes: Powder-coat finishes in standard and custom colors
Full details

The MG-350 series shares one slim 2-3/16 in. aluminum frame across a single-hung (MG-350 SH), a horizontal slider (MG-350 HR) and a fixed picture window (MG-350 PW), which can also be made in arches, circles and other shapes. Mr. Glass describes it as having a slimmer sightline and a larger daylight opening. Compared with the heavier MG-200/300/400 windows, it offers one 5/16 in. laminated glass build, smaller maximum sizes and lower pressure ratings (+65/−80 psf on the single-hung, ±65 psf on the slider and picture window), so it fits standard openings rather than tall or high-wind ones.

Why it costs what it does
The lowest-cost Mr. Glass windows for the same opening: a slimmer frame, a single 5/16 in. laminated glass build, smaller sizes and lower pressure ratings.
Impact
Every MG-350 model is impact-rated under a Florida Product Approval (FL41887 single-hung, FL41890 slider, FL41889 picture window). The approval drawings note large- and small-missile resistance; there is no separate small-missile product.
Thermal
No thermal break, and the approval drawings show no insulated-glass option. NFRC-simulated U-factors are about 1.02-1.09 with laminated glass.
Finishes
Powder-coat finishes in standard and custom colors. AAMA 2604 paint is standard and AAMA 2605 is the upgrade. Under the October 1, 2025 Mr. Glass warranty (owner-occupied homes), both carry a 10-year finish warranty, but only AAMA 2605 stays covered within 2 miles of the coast or any salt water.

Residential Impact Windows

Mid-range

Best for: Homes, condos and high-rise units that need taller or wider windows, higher wind-load ratings, insulated glass, casements or window walls.

  • This is the core of Mr. Glass's residential catalog
  • Impact: All are impact-rated under Florida Product Approvals
  • Finishes: Powder-coat finishes in standard and custom colors
Full details

This is the core of Mr. Glass's residential catalog. The MG-200 single-hung, MG-300 horizontal slider and MG-400 picture window share matching 2-7/8 in. frames and offer 7/16 in. SentryGlas and insulated-laminated glass, with ratings from about +80/−140 to ±100 psf. The MG-450 is a heavy fixed window that can be built very tall, with intermediate bars or combined with impact louvers. The MG-250 is a 6 in. deep stacked single-hung window wall for floor-to-ceiling and high-rise openings. The MG-600 is Mr. Glass's only crank-out casement and awning window. MG-150 aluminum mullions join units into larger openings.

Why it costs what it does
Costs more than the MG-350 series for the same opening because of deeper frames, thicker and insulated glass options, larger sizes and higher ratings. Within the family, the MG-250 window wall, MG-450 tall fixed window and MG-600 casement/awning cost the most.
Impact
All are impact-rated under Florida Product Approvals. The MG-200, MG-250, MG-300 and MG-450 have separate large-missile (LMI) and small-missile (SMI) approvals. The MG-400 and MG-600 are LMI approvals whose drawing notes cover large and small missile.
Thermal
No thermal break. With insulated-laminated Low-E glass, NFRC-simulated U-factors drop to about 0.56-0.78; with laminated-only glass they are about 1.01-1.14. The MG-250 has no published NFRC values.

Sliding, French and Entry Doors

Best for: Homeowners replacing patio sliders, French doors or a front entry door, from everyday budgets to statement pivot doors.

  • Sliding doors come in three levels: the slimmer MG-1500 two-track door with 7/16 in. glass, the heavy-duty MG-1000 two-track door with 9/16 in. glass and panels up to 12 ft, and the MG-1100 three-track multitrack door for very wide openings
  • Impact: Every door is impact-rated under a Florida Product Approval
  • Finishes: Powder-coat finishes in standard and custom colors

Why it costs what it does

Thermal
Only the MG-2500T is thermally broken (glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide strips); it has no published NFRC values. The other doors are not thermally broken, with NFRC-simulated U-factors of about 0.66-0.67 with insulated glass and about 1.0-1.16 with laminated glass.

What is the difference between the MG-200 and MG-350 SH?

Both are aluminum impact single-hungs, built for different jobs. The MG-350 SH is the budget pick: a slim 2-3/16 in. frame, one 5/16 in. laminated glass build, sizes to about 53 x 76 in., and +65/−80 psf. The MG-200 has a deeper 2-7/8 in. frame and taller sizes, to 96 in. It offers 5/16 in. or 7/16 in. laminated glass and insulated glass. With 7/16 in. SentryGlas it is approved to +80/−140 psf; with 5/16 in. glass it is limited to ±80 psf and 76 in. tall. The MG-200 costs more even with the same glass, and thicker glass adds more.

What is the difference between the MG-300 and MG-350 HR?

The MG-350 HR is the value slider: a slim 2-3/16 in. frame with 5/16 in. laminated glass, rated ±65 psf, in XO/OX up to about 84 x 63 in. or XOX up to about 112 x 63 in. The MG-300 is the heavy-duty slider. It has a 2-7/8 in. frame and oversized units up to 127-5/8 x 74 in. Glass choices are 5/16 in. or 7/16 in. laminated, 7/16 in. SentryGlas, and insulated laminated, plus an SMI version. With SentryGlas it is approved to +90/−140 psf; PVB glass is limited to ±80 psf. The MG-300 costs more for the same opening.
