Series comparisons

ECO series compared: Eco-Guard vs ECO-NOVO and every line.

Compare every ECO series by product type: frames, glass, sizes, psf ratings and missile impact, from Eco-Guard single-hungs to ECO-NOVO doors.

ECO's range: Eco-Guard and ECO-NOVO.

ECO makes two lines of aluminum impact windows and doors. Eco-Guard is the main line, with a model for nearly every opening, from basic single-hungs to pivot, bifold and glass garage doors. ECO-NOVO is a newer series of eight products with Florida approvals first issued in 2025. Every ECO window and door carries a Florida Product Approval for use inside and outside the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone. The biggest difference between the lines is how they handle missile ratings: many Eco-Guard series split large and small missile into separate approved products, while each ECO-NOVO product covers both in one approval.

Single-hung: Series 50, 100, 150 and ECO-NOVO 175.

The Series 50 is the entry-level Eco-Guard single-hung, with a 2-1/8 in. frame and 5/16 in. laminated glass, approved for large missile. The Series 100 and Series 150 both have large- and small-missile versions in Florida approval FL40096-R5. The Series 100 is ECO's everyday single-hung with a 2-3/4 in. frame. The Series 150 has a deeper 3-3/8 in. frame, goes up to 96 in. tall and carries a higher negative rating, which suits tall openings and high-exposure walls. The ECO-NOVO Series 175 covers large and small missile in one product at +70/-70 psf. Ratings drop as size goes up, so the drawing for the exact size governs. See our Impact Single-Hung Window page.

Fixed windows: Series 300, 350 and the shapes.

ECO makes more fixed windows than any other window type. The Series 300 is a concealed-fastener fixed window in rectangles and custom shapes, with a 2-3/4 in. frame; it suits picture windows, transoms and arched or angled shapes beside operable windows. The Series 350 is ECO's deepest fixed window, with a 3-3/8 in. frame, for large picture openings and tall shaped glass. Both have separate large- and small-missile versions in Florida approval FL32389-R7. The Series 300 drawing allows heat-strengthened or tempered laminated glass with PVB; the Series 350 takes PVB or SentryGlas interlayers, or 15/16 in. insulated laminated glass. The ECO-NOVO Series 375 covers both missile sizes in one approval. See our Impact Picture Window page.

The approval for each opening makes the final call.

Ask us for a side-by-side quote. Then let the facts in these tables guide the choice: the shape of the opening, how it should open, its size, the design pressure it needs and the missile rating. Where an Eco-Guard series has separate large- and small-missile versions, the version must match the opening. The approval for the exact size, glass and wall governs, and True Impact supplies and installs ECO and confirms the current approval for every opening before permitting. Every ECO approval and drawing is listed at the ECO product approvals page, and the full range is at our ECO page.
